Despite not collecting Gordon we just prevailed against a strong Crystal Palace team on Monday.

Terrible end-game technique by me almost put the result in danger but the engine-room came through comfortably on boards 4-7 - well done all. Solid debut by Alan Hanreck with black on 1 - neither Roshal or myself were losing until the match was nearly won so easier than it looks on paper I guess.
